This is still a bubble bro. I work in tech and AI isn't ready for primetime. They are building all these infrastructure with the stated aim of using AI to replace a lot of jobs.
This isn't happening anytime soon because AI isn't AI it's Generative and Predictive. The difference imo is true AI can make discernment and doesn't hallucinate or try to bs it's way through a prompt that it doesn't fully understand.
AI right now is a dilletante. Ask any AI engine a question in an area that you are an expect in then it falls way short. No matter the field or industry.
Don't be fool by the buildup of physical assets. Spain was building world class airports to no where during the height of the housing bubble and era of cheap credit.
Michael Burry has a billion dollar put in place for a reason. AI doesn't have widespread utility right now. And if the best pie in the sky scenario of AI comes through it will still crash the economy. What happens when billions of people are made redundant because of AI. If the machines are the ones making all the money who is left to spend on publicly traded companies?
AI ain't it. Ride the wave but a crash is inevitable. Them passing money around like it's hot potato is your warning sign. Not investing anything long term on AI. Ride the waves and surf it.
During the dotcom boom there was a lot of physical infrastructure build up as well that didn't become profitable until many years later.
