ETF: Exchange traded fund. This is like basket of stocks you can buy!💰
Previous close: How much a share was the day before.
Open: How much a share was at the beginning of today.
Bid: Represents the maximum price that a buyer is willing to pay for a share.
Ask: Represents the minimum price that a seller is willing to take.
Volume: How many shares were traded today.
Yield: The percent or dividends you get per year.
Beta: Shows how volatile a stock is relative to the S&P500.
Expense Ratio: The fee you pay per year to invest in the ETF.

My portfolio for the past 30 years has always been self managed and I own 3 shares of Berkshire Hathaway Class A stock (BRK:A) which I bought in at about $17,000 during the mid 90s, I'm currently liquidating some of these positions to incoporate new Gen. Stocks, but am I better off re-investing into Gold as it seems stocks are a little too unstable right now.

Buying of ETFs is easy, but buying the right one without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence which is best to buy now or put on a watchlist? I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $260K for sometime now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies… I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
