Very troublesome. I would still rather pay more brokerage fees to the traditional broking firms due to its simplicity. Dislike transferring funds here and there.
@saintnarkoba
Moo moo covered call is a bit diff.. can make another video of if?
@Blazealoy
another great video sir! may i ask – you mentioned IBKR is your broker of choice.. but you also use moomoo? Any advice which would you recommend more or choose as your broker of choice if you had to pick one?
moomoo – pros: very good and intuitive UI, I like how the portfolio / P&L is presented, cons: FX loss compared to IBKR is around 0.3-0.4% (which may not seem like much but every 10000 USD , you lose around 30-40 USD just from exchange alone)
IBKR – pros: spot exchange rate (close to google) , cons: super laggy and slow, no free real time data, no cash management unlike moomoo and the interest on idle cash is so tough to hit (need to have at least 100k in NAV), app is not intuitive (some tools still need to go web portal to use)
@Zenus21
Easier to use than IBKR

@seninamak289
Thank you for your sharing. I just started on momoo 2 months ago and started buying US stocks since then. However , still new to the features…😅
@ttxxxx
if i reinvest my dividends for US stocks, are they still subjected to the US Dividend Withholding Tax?
@kooman01
To trade US stocks, I need to Exchange my SGD to USD first before trading so that I get the best exchange rate. How about if I have USD in Moo Moo account, do I need to do the Exchange to SGD first before the transfer?
@chendefa5739
Hi kelvin, if i want to buy US stock, must i convert my fund fr SG to USD first, then can buy US dollar stocks?
@generatelovewithinus

Hi Kelvin, when buying ETFs, Moomoo failed the transaction and asked for knowledge assessment. I do not have any finance certification, it then prevents me from buying ETFs such as SPLG. I tried to take the SGX SIP online education module, but in the sign up page it asked for primary and secondary broker firm, I don't know how to fill in any of these. Do you have a guide on this? thanks
