Point of clarification: Financial Planners are better than advisors because you need training and licensing to be a planner, and in Quebec Financial Planner is a protected term… Financial Planners are legally required to act in your best interest whereas you just have to trust Financial Advisors. I learned this off Marketplace on CBC, and looking up the difference between those terms in Canada, online!🙂❤
