@Emmanuelwithus
Thankyou bro for the suggestions!
I've been trying to get around the last few seasons to begin raising chickens for eggs since the prices have exploded.
I look forward to more content from you!
@joeldiaz6980
Who’s currently watching in 2025 with how high egg prices are😅
@Anipen1
Thanks
@jessalynncarnes5489
It's 4 chickens per box. All that's necessary. Also, pecking order is irrelevant as long as you have 1 Rooster per 10 hens to break up hen squabbles, and at least 2 feet of space on roosting bars that are exactly the same height, and loads of room in their run so they can easily run from any fight. I actually have too many roosters at the moment, but it doesn't seem to be an issue at all because they have SO much space in their coop AND run to RUN and FLY. They love it. ❤ Currently 32 hens to 6 roosters. We plan to eat at least 2 roosters soon. It's the hatchery's fault. 😂 I really think there's more important things to mention than these 5 things. Like keeping them dry and keeping their coop well ventilated. Dust bathing and grit as well as calcium is important. Obviously if they're free-ranging those 3 things aren't a concern, but HUGE if they're COOPED up (pun intended!). 😅
@Jakobywan94
Dude your chicken coop is nice af I'm jealous
@젊은햇님
a newbie question 😅 but if i begin with 3 chickens and main goal is for eggs 🥚, can i start with 3 hens? (no roosters?)
@aquagamer1212
Oh I hate odd numbers 😢 there will just have to be TWO queens! 😤
@twinoaksfam
👍
@oliver_klozoff
I hate this one box for every three hens crap that's going around. Have you ever had your hens use more than one or two boxes? All of my chickens will literally climb on top of each other to use a single box even if I provide them. 10. It's not uncommon to see two or 3 of them trying to cram themselves into a box to use the same dang nest. Chickens are weird
@hihello67-67
i’m going to buy chickens on wednesday
@isaihgloria7346
Seriously how is having an odd number of chickens going to affect pecking order. Doesn’t even make sense
@ArshadSerdar
him: i would recommend starting with 3
well lucky me only 3 hatched
@kelvinwachira3193
Beautiful rooster. What breed is he?
@katetimpere1694

@314Sen

@Uprising771
Thank you!
@JamesRhed935
I like the quiet noises they make
@enrgylife
Why are your nesting boxes so high, you like poopy eggs? The roosts should always be higher than the nesting boxes.
@zedmeinhardt3404
We just gonna ignore that chicken that was in the closed nest box? 😂
@johnsnow7651
Bruh. You don't need so many nest box. They ultimately will use one or two
@cliftonsargent1572
We are about to get 4 chickens so I need all the bad things so I can be prepared, why does odd # of chickens matter? 1 is gonna lead so it doesn’t matter if I have 4-5-9?
@fictitiousnightmares
What exactly does one bird being on top have to do with odd numbers?
@lalphirkimchangsan6636
They have lots of tiny insects which are really disturbing in our chickens how will we do to remove all those I don’t know how to call them chickens disease ? What insects ilare those we can see hardly ?
@Wholehearted.Homestead
Love it! 🐣
@CarGuy-q1k
For 5-6 chickens how much space would I need total
@buttonscreations
I love the 1 box to 3 hens…all 16 of mine will fight over the same box all day long, they completely ignore the other identical boxes
@chickendiaries
So true! But I think 5 are better…
@ChickenRunRanch
Sound advice👍
@untitledvr-g4o
My chickens are in the incubator
@VeronikaGama
Ive seen my father shoot 3 different men in my life. The first time was over are damn chickens. My father caught my neighbors kid fornicating one of our chickens and my dad took a 12 gauge to him.
@Nic85643
Thank you 🙏 🥰
@eltito2735

@Henry-t1s3d
