I would combine this with a sell below 200 sma to avoid a long hold over a year in case the system prompted a buy at the top.

Is 240% return adjusted for taxes and fees? you will have 10 taxable events for NAPS vs 1 for the index if you did this for a decade.

I basically do this but on a shorter time scale. I hold each stock for a defined period of time and sell it when the time is up. I care only about monitoring potential losses and bailing out early if the odds go severely against me. It works.

less to achieve more. that's the key. personally like a momentum etf that rebalances for me. dca into it and let the etf take care of the rebalancing into new leaders

I mean, if you mainly care about simplicity and emotional distancing, then isn’t buying an all-world passive index ETF and forgetting about it a clear winner here? Lower tax burden on average than stocks, exponentially less time required, less risk due to infinitely better diversification, significantly less transactions therefore significantly less money wasted on fees.
If you want to trade stocks for the hobby, then it’s even I guess.
