I usually look for Bullish MACD crossovers that close over the EMA 8. Stock must have plenty of room to run before I touch it. I usually buy contracts 1-4 months out depending on how it likes to move. Almost never hold a contract more than a month, but I like to give myself time.

Man that's true AF. I was trading puts the last two weeks thinking "it's too high" and lost a ton. Literally got it all back and then some this past Friday with NVDA calls as it soared $30+ in one day. Just because YOU think something is overbought, even if it shows 90 on the RSI, it can stay that way for a long time so just ride it instead of trying to predict it.
