The problem with 1:1 is loss streaks are harder to handle because it takes longer to recover from em compared to a 2:1 or higher rr . Ive personally been using 1:1 for a long time and wasnt satisfied Much with the results but everyone will have a different experience I guess

thats 100% true. I had been trading 1:3 for years and had so many psychological problems with losses. I switched to smaller TF and not go less than 15 M TF and 1:1 R. confidence and winratr increased and Im finally profitable.
