There's many other Option stragerys that don't involve playing earnings. Futures are binary and you must be right on yoyr direction. I play options were my option can go in almost any direction and I still profit.

I still prefer options over futures. Options has more ways to make money and has dedined risk! So i can enter a trade and only lose what i put up. Its crazy how people who are new to trading are running to forex and futures trading???

The biggest thing that annoys me about options is when you are in a qqq 0DTE right. Moves up like $4 and you are up $150 per contract. Check it 30 seconds later and now it moved down $0.20 and now you only up $20. It’s like aight waste of my day to not be looking at it every 2 milliseconds.

stock options are their own thing, but if you are trading 0dte index options like SPY or IWM, you should 100% switch to futures. It is so much easier, so much cleaner. no stupid decay to worry about, just look for that high of day or low and day. once you get in profit just move up your stop loss. when i traded 0dte I rarely caught full day moves, in fact I dont think i ever caught a full day move on 0dte. with futures you will really start to love those trend days.
