Me thanks alot, ive been trying to figure this out, i wasnt comprehending how it was profitable on like O when they dropping more than they paying out when whales pulling out there investment and tanking the stock pre payouts. i had some shares when they up and 60 and they dropped to under 40, there seems to a migrational period for dividends but i havent figured it out..cause neg 20 bucks didnt make sense for pennies in return and the div taxes a the taxes for getting out the stock before it dropped under 40.. it looked like a scam.. cause the taxes wipe all the small gains out and thr taxes for closing the stock as it dipped too hard or am i looking at this wrongly..?
I guess what I'm saying is what do you look at to stop the rug being pulled around dividend time stocks payout and hitting your stops triggering a stock sale and at 40% tax if held under 12 months and a loss and a dividend tax above the annual ceiling.. doing this raw seems risky hitting <=40 last quarter for example even though its climbed back up gradually..
