I got into trading thinking I’d learn as I went. The challenge pushed me, but reality hit fast. YouTube alone wasn’t enough, and the constant market swings had me doubting every decision. I was taking more losses than wins, but it showed me exactly where I needed to improve.

The Fed chair doesn’t control rates. He has one vote. The Fed governors aren’t going to listen to a trump stooge. They will go by their own judgement. We do not want them to start cutting more than 2-3 more times.

In April of 2025, Trump said now is a great time to buy, timing the bottom and subsequent rebound perfectly, which is not the same as the more generally optimistic prediction of a golden age and 2026 boom which could be to build up more midterm political support. And the $trillions of foreign investment will take time to see fruition. The market is already at an all-time high so you would have to make gains by climbing on top of that. 2017 was very good with new highs and many expected Trump to do even better and I invested more, but 2018 went negative and my investment went down. I stayed in and it's done very well long term.
