Listen up – money is NOT your biggest barrier to entry to getting started in real estate. Today I’m going to give you the beginners guide to creative real estate investing and share with you how to get started with little (frequently none) of your own money.
Here’s what you need to understand. As a real estate investor your success depends on your ability to solve problems. There’s two ways to buy a property and solve a sellers problem:
1) Money (actual currency)
2) Intellectual Currency
The more you use of one, the less you need of the other. If you’re short on money you can use ideas in its place. If you’re short on ideas, you’ll need more money. Once you fully master this you’ll begin to learn that it’s never a money problem, merely an idea problem. In the absence of money you can insert an idea instead.
