I am doing something very different. I have to retire I’m 68 and have about $120-$140,000 in cash. I’m going to park it with Barclays. I’m not going to buy any stocks are mutual funds. I don’t trust the market I just don’t. This is all the money I have in my lifetime. It will give me about 4%. I will use that in my Social Security and small pension to continue to live.
@sethw997
I've been using wealthfront since February 2024, started at 5% and now, November '25 (1 year 9 months later) its down to 3.75% 🤦. Good thing is its pretty liquid. Comes with a debit card, no minimum balance and i can withdraw fee free at all point ATMs (Walgreens, cvs, etc.) But im not seeing it grow very much.
