Another issue with space data center is that space has a lot of radiation, which can significantly increase the error rate of memories and potentially damage hardware. Even on earth, data centers usually use ECC memory to correct those errors.

15:55 the 2nd comparison is stupid. If we really get datacenters in space why would we still use racks? The servers could just be on the back of the solar panels like the starlink example. The only reason racks exist is such that you can fit many servers compact and efficiently. Like you said, there is a lot of space in space

electricity/fuels/uranium on earth will have to become insanely expensive before space gets interesting. GPU's also become obselete over time. imagine the cost of having to replace an entire data center in space every year. I don't see it happening even in the first 20 years.

Sorry but the ideea of space cooling is retarded. Space has little particles so there is no such thing as cooling. Thermodynamics need particles to have thermic equilibrium. There is thermal equilibrium without particles.
Cooling in space is quite the opposite of what people belive. The space station actually uses special radiators to eliminate excess heat. The guy who came up with this ideea is an idiot.
