It doesn't work that way all the time. You need to save a little cash to "try" something, so you don't get stuck with loans on a possible poor investment.
If everybody made money that way, everybody would do it.

omg dude no….stocks are NOT what wealthy people put their money into. The stock market is volatile and it's like gambling; on top of that a regular person has very little access to the knowledge required to make moves on the stock market. Even if you know what to invest in, it is still very risky. Wealthy people invest in the bond market and the foreign exchange markets, including foreign currency exchange.
However, I will say that investing in real estate is a good idea but do your homework and research before investing.
